Hazelnut Bombs

Cook Time: 1 hour

Serves: Makes 16 balls

Ingredients:

  • 200g chopped hazelnuts
  • 12 medjool dates, chopped
  • 6 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp ground chia
  • 7 tsp good-quality cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Method:

  1. Place the dates, maple syrup, ground chia, 6 tsp of the cocoa powder, chopped hazelnuts and vanilla extract in a food processor and blitz until you have a sticky paste.
  2. Use your hands to shape the paste into balls roughly the size of golf balls.
  3. Then roll each ball in the remaining tsp of cocoa powder
  4. Place the balls in an airtight container in the fridge and leave them to set.
  5. In 1 hour they will be ready.
