Hummus

Prep time: 10 minutes

Makes: 4 big portions

Ingredients:

  • 1 tin of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 4 large garlic cloves, finely grated
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 tbsp good quality extra virgin olive oil
  • 1-2 tsp tahini
  • 1-2 tsp Tabasco
  • Salt and pepper to season

Method:  

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a food processor and blitz until you have a smooth consistency.
  2. Scrape the hummus into an airtight container and keep in the fridge.
  3. Eat with chopped up carrot sticks.
