Pitta Chips

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 wholemeal pitta breads
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • topping of your choice: chilli flakes, minced garlic, dried herbs or grated Parmesan

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas 4.
  2.  Line a large baking tin with parchment paper.
  3. Use a sharp knife to split the pittas in half and cut them into triangles about the size of a tortilla chip.
  4. Place the triangles on the prepared tin. Drizzle with olive oil, season and sprinkle over your chosen topping.
  5. Bake the chips for 12–15 minutes, turning once.
  6. Arrange the Pitta Chips on a serving platter alongside some dips or pesto.
