Very Berry Smoothie

This is a great smoothie to have in the morning or after a workout. If you are having this for breakfast throw in a scoop of protein powder to make it more substantial.
Prep Time: 2 mins

 

Ingredients:

  • 300ml apple juice (not from concentrate)
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled
  • 100g mixed (fresh or frozen) berries
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • (If needed, add Protein to make it more substantial)

Method:

  1. Pour the apple juice into a blender and add the banana, berries and chia seeds.
  2. Blitz until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour into a tall glass and serve without delay.
